Yoga at Ilam Park

Practicing yoga outdoors in natural spaces offers us the opportunity to reconnect and reawakening our connection with self and nature.

Working in partnership with The National Trust we are delighted to offer you the chance to practice Yoga with us here in this outstanding and beautiful space witnessed by the landscape that surrounds you.

Yoga at Ilam

What to expect

Every Tuesday and Thursday morning throughout July and August we meet at 9:30am before walking through the grounds to our chosen location for that day. Your class will start at 9:45am and will include about an hour of Nature connected mindfulness, pranayama and a sequence of asana (yoga poses) designed to allow you to connect with your mind, body, and breath.

The flow is suitable for those new to yoga as well as those in a regular practice and will be led by Gavin or one of the Atavi team, all of whom are qualified yoga teachers and advocates of the healing powers of nature.

You will need a mat (although your teacher will have a few spares), warm layers that allow movement, a bottle of water and have booked your spot by following the link below.

In the event of light rain we will move in to the historic arches (pictured in the video above).

I really hope that you can join me and explore the wonders of outdoor yoga here in the open outdoor spaces around Ilam Hall.

Oh and whilst you take some time out there’s so much for the rest of your family to do - see the poster below. Parking is free to members so remember to bring your membership card.
